9 August, Minsk /BELTA/. Conditions for awarding bonuses to heads of organisations indebted to the budget have been changed in Belarus. On 6 August, the President of Belarus signed Decree No. 405, which amends Decree No. 292 of 13 August 1996 "On granting legal entities deferral for payment of tax arrears and penalties", BELTA was informed by the press service of the Head of State. Decree No. 292 of 13 August 1996 prohibited the payment of bonuses to heads and chief specialists (their deputies) of organisations that have arrears to the budget. An amendment has been made to this decree, according to which the prohibition will not apply to organisations that have been granted a deferral (instalment plan) for the repayment of arrears on payments to the budget, economic sanctions and penalties by a decision of the President of the Republic of Belarus. In this case, strict adherence to the payment of current budget payments is a mandatory condition. In the event of deprivation of the right to deferral (instalment plan), the prohibition on accrual and payment of bonuses to officials will be in effect. The Decree enters into force three months after its signing.-0-
