Tariffs for public telecommunication and postal services will be increased in Belarus. This is stipulated by Resolution No. 84 of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade dated November 27, 2018, which was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and will come into force 10 days after official publication, BELTA reports.

In particular, minor changes will affect the monthly subscription fee for telephone services, time-based charges for telephone conversations, as well as the postage for sending postal items: postcards, letters, and parcels. A decision on when exactly the tariffs will be increased for the public will be made in the near future by the management of "Beltelecom" and "Belpochta".

Prior to this, tariffs for telecommunication services in Belarus were changed in March 2017, and for postal services – in April 2018.
