Temporary restrictive measures have been introduced almost everywhere.

In the Vitebsk region, the restrictions did not affect only the Verkhnedvinsk, Miory, Braslav, and Sharkovshchyna districts.

Over the past weekend, 5 fires covering an area of 3.9 hectares were recorded in the forest fund of the Ministry of Forestry. In total, since the beginning of the year, there have already been 30 forest fires and ignitions covering an area of 10.4 hectares.

With restrictions on forest visits, entry into the forest fund by private vehicles is usually prohibited. Forests remain accessible for walking.



Attention Citizens!!!

Due to the established 3rd class of fire hazard due to weather conditions, from March 23, 2026, restrictions have been imposed on citizens' visits to forests in the Lepel district.

This means that citizens are allowed to be in the forest provided they fully comply with forest fire safety rules (lighting fires, smoking, etc. are prohibited). Entry of vehicles into the forest fund is also prohibited.
