Yuri Miksyuk, Director of the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control, told a BELTA correspondent about the nuances of the upcoming event. "To register, applicants must present an identity document, submit an application in one of the state languages of Belarus, and pay a fee for the acceptance and processing of documents for participation in the CT amounting to 0.1 basic unit (the basic unit is currently Br24.5) per academic subject. If it is impossible to arrive at the registration point for a valid reason, legal representatives of minor applicants or representatives acting under a power of attorney may submit documents," he informed.
Registration for CT is allowed for no more than four academic subjects of entrance examinations. "The schedule for conducting the centralized testing is determined by the Resolution of the Ministry of Education dated January 25, 2018, No. 5. According to the document, the CT will begin on June 12 with tests in the Belarusian language, on June 14 tests in the Russian language will be held, on June 16 - in Social Studies, on June 18 - in Mathematics, on June 20 - in Biology, on June 22 - in Foreign Languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese), on June 24 - in Chemistry, on June 26 - in Physics, on June 28 - in the History of Belarus, on June 30 - in Geography. The CT will conclude on July 2 with an exam in World History (Modern Period). The start time for the CT, including on reserve days, is 11:00," noted Yuri Miksyuk.
Registration for CT on reserve days will be possible from June 30 to July 3. Reserve testing in Social Studies, Mathematics, Biology, Foreign Languages, Chemistry, Physics, History of Belarus, Geography, World History (Modern Period) will be held on July 6 and 10. Tests in the Belarusian and Russian languages will be conducted on July 6 and 8.
Applicants will be able to receive certificates at the CT venues from July 10, and at Belarusian State University (reserve days) - from July 13. Information about CT registration points is available on the website of the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control.
The third stage of trial testing is concluding in Belarus. Until May 15, trial paper-based and computer-based testing will be conducted only at the Republican Institute for Knowledge Control.
