In the Minsk region, 2 million 191 thousand tonnes of grain were threshed, in the Grodno region - 1 million 717.4 thousand tonnes, in the Brest region - 1 million 428.4 thousand tonnes. On the fields of the Vitebsk region, 1 million 362.9 thousand tonnes of grain were harvested, in the Mogilev region - 1 million 116.5 thousand tonnes, in the Gomel region - 984.4 thousand tonnes.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, agricultural organisations have only 0.3% of the grain and pulse areas left to harvest.
As for buckwheat, as of August 28, the harvesting target has been met by 27% (3.38 thousand hectares out of 12.41 thousand hectares have been harvested), with 4.25 thousand tonnes threshed. The average yield across the country is 12.6 centners per hectare, which is slightly lower than last year's level (14.8 centners per hectare).
Agrarians still need to harvest millet from 3.1 thousand hectares (or 58.9% of the areas). To date, 4.47 thousand tonnes of millet have been threshed. On average, 20.7 centners are harvested per hectare, which is 0.1 centners more than last year.
