In Belarus, almost 6.6 million tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, have been threshed, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food told BelTA.

As of August 21, 88% of cereal and leguminous crops and 88% of rapeseed have been harvested. A total of 6,596 thousand tonnes of grain, including rapeseed, have been threshed, of which 5,663 thousand tonnes are cereal and leguminous crops and over 933 thousand tonnes are rapeseed.

Concurrently with the harvest, flax and flax straw are being pulled and procured. Flax has been pulled from 97% of the areas. Work on harvesting flax straw is ongoing, with approximately 29 thousand tonnes collected.

Straw, after harvesting cereal and leguminous crops, has been cleared from 53% of the mown areas. Stubble mulching has been carried out on 14% of the harvested area.

Preparations are underway for sowing winter crops. Winter rapeseed for grain has been sown on 85% of the areas. Farms across the country are harvesting corn for silage. 195 thousand tonnes of green corn mass have been collected.
