The Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs is accepting applications from small business entities until April 1 for participation in the investment project competition to receive state financial support. This information is posted on the website of the Ministry of Economy, according to BELTA.
Small business entities registered and operating in Belarus, as well as those entitled to receive state financial support in accordance with Decree No. 255 "On Certain Measures of State Support for Small Entrepreneurship," can participate in the competition.
The competition concerns investment projects in the following areas: creation, development, and expansion of production of goods (works, services); organization, development of production, and sale of export-oriented, import-substituting products; production of products aimed at energy and resource saving; and implementation of new technologies.
State support is provided in the form of loan funds up to Br204 thousand and property provision under financial lease (leasing) also up to Br204 thousand. The total amount of financial support for one entity cannot exceed Br255 thousand.
Small business entities that win the competition receive support on terms of maturity and refundability for up to 5 years.
