The Regulation on the Procedure for Organising and Conducting Public Discussions of Environmentally Significant Decisions has been revised. The document amends the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of June 14, 2016, No. 458 and revises the Regulation on the Procedure for Organising and Conducting Public Discussions of Environmentally Significant Decisions, Environmental Reports on Strategic Environmental Assessment, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, and Consideration of Adopted Environmentally Significant Decisions.

Amendments are also made to the Regulation on the Procedure for Conducting Public Discussions in the Field of Architectural, Urban Planning, and Construction Activities, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of June 1, 2011, No. 687 "On Certain Measures for the Implementation of the Law of the Republic of Belarus 'On Amendments and Additions to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Architectural, Urban Planning, and Construction Activities'."

According to the amendments, public discussions of the environmental report on strategic environmental assessment and the environmental impact assessment report are carried out in the manner established by legislation for the procedure of public discussions of environmental reports on strategic environmental assessment and environmental impact assessment reports.

The new version comes into force on January 22, 2017.
