28 November, Minsk /Andrei Asfura - BELTA/. Seven product companies, including one parent company, are planned to be established in Belarus. This was announced today by Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy, while answering questions from participants of a joint meeting of the two chambers of the National Assembly, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the product companies will be responsible for the sales of Belarusian goods, primarily meat and dairy products. The establishment of large associations will help increase the export of food products and expand their sales markets abroad. Mikhail Rusy noted that Belarus has learned to produce, but has not yet always learned to trade effectively. The Deputy Prime Minister also touched upon the issue of integrating agricultural enterprises into large business entities. "Any integration must be economically expedient," he noted. "It is correct that investors have come to the republic and have improved territories through profit redistribution. However, there is currently a personnel problem." The Deputy Prime Minister also stated that in 2013, it is planned to build 1,900 apartments for workers of the agro-industrial complex. Housing will be built in locations where agro-industrial complexes exist and there is a need for labor. "Apartments should be built where specialists are needed and where they are in demand," explained Mikhail Rusy. -0-
