This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Vitaly Golovachev, Chief Engineer of the state enterprise "BelPSHA GI" of the State Property Committee, during the "TIBO-2018" exhibition.
The resource is located at dzz.by/izuchdzz. "This is a new resource, launched a couple of days ago. Any internet user can visit the website and see what information on ERS data for the territory of Belarus is available, and view their village, town, or street, just like in Google Maps. This platform will host all three types of data obtained using space imagery, manned and unmanned aviation. The data from high-precision manned aviation is used as the basis," said Vitaly Golovachev.
He emphasized that the resource provides information with high geodetic accuracy. This data is already used by the National Cadastral Agency of the State Property Committee in the land value register. The scope of application for ERS data is broad: agricultural production, land management, cartography, forestry, etc.
The enterprise of the State Property Committee began surveying the territory using unmanned aerial vehicles last month. The territories of Dzerzhinsk and Krichev have already been surveyed. The "Geoscan 201" drone is registered in the aviation registry of the State Military Industrial Committee.
Vitaly Golovachev noted that the aerial photography enterprise has entered a five-year cycle for updating ERS data. Information for some cities will be updated annually.
The presentation of the new internet resource is organized at the central exhibition "IT-Country Belarus". More than 100 companies representing products from 15 countries (Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Great Britain, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Japan) will take part in the "TIBO" exhibition.
