Fuel excise duties to be increased in Belarus

28 August, Minsk /Tatsiana Hryhoravich - BELTA/. Excise tax rates on motor gasoline will be increased by 45% in Belarus, and on diesel fuel by 70%. This is stipulated by Decree No. 375 of 26 August 2013, which was officially published today on the National Legal Internet Portal, BELTA reports.

Thus, according to the document, the excise tax rate on gasoline with an octane rating of 95 and above will be Br1,785,700 per 1 ton, on gasoline with an octane rating from 91 to 95 - Br2,238,800, with an octane rating up to 91 - Br2,539,100. The excise tax rate on diesel fuel is set at Br1,686,100.

The established excise tax rates are valid until 31 December 2013.
