Thus, from June 30, 2012, producer prices for liquefied hydrocarbon gases for communal and domestic consumption will increase by 10%, and by 11% - producer prices for liquefied hydrocarbon gases for automotive transport and maximum retail prices for liquefied gas sold at gas filling stations. This is stipulated by the Ministry of Economy's resolutions No. 51 and No. 52 of June 13, 2012. "Currently, the existing producer prices for liquefied gases do not ensure profitable operation of the manufacturing organizations that produce them for communal and domestic consumption and for automotive transport. The increase in retail prices for petroleum products this year has changed the ratio between retail prices for motor gasoline and liquefied gases used for refueling vehicles," the Ministry of Economy noted. Thus, the decision to increase gas prices has been made to ensure an increase in the efficiency of financial and economic activities of oil refining organizations when selling liquefied gases on the domestic market, and to eliminate the existing disparity in prices for petroleum products for refueling vehicles, the ministry explained. Also, from July 1, 2012, the price of liquefied gas used for filling gas cylinders will increase by 5.5%. In this case, the producer price for 1 kg of liquefied gas supplied to the population for filling gas cylinders with a volume of 1 l, 5 l, 12 l, 27 l is set at Br 2,290. The decision was made by the Ministry of Economy, taking into account the unprofitability of selling liquefied gases on the domestic market from purchased raw materials, as well as to ensure an increase in the efficiency of gas supply organizations, and is recorded in the ministry's resolution No. 56 of June 20, 2012.-0-
