On August 16, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. The National Program for Demographic Security of Belarus for 2011-2015 provides for significant measures to ensure housing accessibility for large and young families, as housing conditions are often decisive when making a decision to increase the family size. This was announced today at a press conference by the First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Petr Grushnik, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. This concerns the provision of state financial assistance to large families in repaying debts on preferential loans obtained for the construction (reconstruction) or acquisition of residential premises, as well as an increase in the amount of state financial support provided to young and large families in repaying debts on loans issued by banks for the construction (reconstruction) or acquisition of residential premises on general terms. Answering a question from a BELTA correspondent, Petr Grushnik stated that the demographic security program envisages the repayment of 75% of the debt amount for preferential loans issued with three minor children, and 100% with four minor children. The development of a draft of the relevant regulatory legal act is planned for 2012. As for financial support for young and large families in repaying debts on housing loans issued by banks on general terms, it will amount to 40 living wage budgets for families upon the birth (adoption) of the first child or upon having one minor child, 80 living wage budgets for the second child or upon having two minors, 100 living wage budgets upon the birth of the third and subsequent children. -0-
