1 April, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. In Belarus, as of 1 April 2013, the first-category tariff rate for the remuneration of employees of budget organizations and other organizations receiving subsidies, whose employees are equated in terms of remuneration to employees of budget organizations, has been set at Br250 thousand. This decision is contained in the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of 29 March 2013 No. 226, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the press service of the Belarusian government.

The same resolution establishes adjustment coefficients to the tariff rates (salaries) of employees of budget organizations, classified under categories 1-27, calculated according to the Unified Tariff Grid of Employees of the Republic of Belarus (ETS), in the amounts of 3.50-1.00.

Republican state administration bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, heads of budget organizations and other organizations receiving subsidies, whose employees are equated in terms of remuneration to employees of budget organizations, are required to ensure the recalculation of employee wages in accordance with the established first-category tariff rate and ETS coefficients, taking into account the adjustment coefficients.

The previous increase in the first-category tariff rate in Belarus was from 1 January 2013 to Br240 thousand. This decision was made with the aim of further increasing the remuneration level of employees of budget organizations, the purchasing power of their wages, as well as partially restoring differentiation in the remuneration of public sector employees. Simultaneously, with the aim of partially restoring the differentiation in the remuneration of public sector employees provided for by the ETS, the range of adjustment coefficients to tariff rates (salaries) for employees classified under categories 11-21 was changed to 1.538-1.010.-0-
