The state order has been fully fulfilled and even overfulfilled. This was noted by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking today at the republican festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki-2011", reports a BELTA correspondent. The head of state emphasized that processing, milling, and bakery enterprises are provided with their own grain raw materials. The necessary quantity of various groats will be produced: buckwheat, millet, oat, and barley. "This year, we will fully provide ourselves with the entire range of groats produced in the country," the head of state assured. According to him, this was achieved through the selfless work of many thousands of farmers. The front-rank workers deserve the highest praise and commendation, the President noted. The results of the crew of senior combine operator Vladimir Korsak from the agro-combine "Zarya" of the Mogilev district, who threshed more than 5.2 thousand tons of grain, are admirable. The younger generation of combine operators is also pleasing, with the crew of Sergey Shalukho from the agro-combine "Zhdanoivichi" of the Minsk district, who threshed almost 3050 tons of grain, being the first among them. Alexander Lukashenko recalled the record holders of the first "Dazhynki". "Back in 1996, we awarded crews that surpassed the mark of one and a half thousand tons of grain. And threshing even two thousand tons was only a dream. Today, the five-thousand mark has already been surpassed - these are truly records," he said. The President noted that there has been significant progress in grain yield as well. 321 agricultural organizations achieved yields of over 40 centners per hectare. The absolute leader in yield was the agricultural production cooperative "Svisloch" of the Grodno district, where more than 86 centners per hectare were harvested (head Vasily Gustyr, chief agronomist Yuri Valevaty). The threshold of 80 centners of grain per hectare, which is an indicator of the best agricultural enterprises in Germany, France, and the USA, was also surpassed by other farms. These include "Progress-Vertelishki" of the Grodno district (almost 85 centners per hectare), the cooperative named after Voronetsky of the Berestovitsky district (over 84 centners per hectare), and "Alexandriyskoye" of the Shklovsky district (82.7 centners per hectare). The yield level of grain and leguminous crops of 50 centners per hectare was exceeded by 6 districts of the republic. The Grodno district traditionally takes first place in this indicator, with over 61 centners per hectare. The second and third places are occupied by two other districts of the Grodno region - Berestovitsky and Mostovsky.-0-
