The relevant Decree No. 387 "On Amendments and Additions to Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 667 of December 27, 2007" was signed by the head of state Alexander Lukashenko on August 4, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The relevant Decree No. 387 "On Amendments and Additions to Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 667 of December 27, 2007" was signed by the head of state Alexander Lukashenko on August 4, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The document is adopted to improve the procedure for granting land plots. The Decree reduces the list of grounds for granting land plots without auctions.
"Land plots for the construction of roadside service facilities in the suburban areas of Minsk and regional centers, for the reconstruction of production bases, enterprises, and other facilities in cases where such reconstruction involves the erection of independent capital structures, as well as vacant land plots in gardening associations in the suburban zone of Minsk from January 1, 2015, will be granted exclusively based on auction results," the press service informed.
In addition, regional executive committees are instructed to expand, by September 1, 2014, considering the interests of the state, local conditions, and economic efficiency, the list of settlements (territories) within which land plots will be granted to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs for the production of goods (performance of works, provision of services), and to citizens not in need of housing improvement for individual housing construction, only based on auction results.
At the same time, the Decree provides that land plots for the placement of secondary raw material reception points, sorting, disposal, and processing facilities for municipal waste, and for the disposal of solid municipal waste, will be granted without auction.
