Legislation on pension provision is being improved in Belarus. The corresponding Decree No. 452 was signed by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on December 14, the press service of the Belarusian leader informed BELTA.
The document is designed to bring previously adopted decisions of the head of state into line with Decree No. 137 of April 11, 2016 "On improving pension provision". For this purpose, it provides for their adjustment in terms of clarifying the age, which is one of the criteria for determining the employability of citizens when providing state targeted social assistance in the form of a monthly allowance, as well as granting the right to preferential travel for pensioners during the period of seasonal agricultural work annually from May 1 to September 30.
In addition, the age is clarified, depending on which decisions are made on registering those in need of improved housing conditions and on the right to receive social housing, and in accordance with which the term of the contract concluded (extended) with an employee of pre-retirement age is determined.
