13 August, Minsk /BELTA/. Grain and leguminous crops have been harvested from over 80% of the planned areas in Belarusian farms. This was reported to BELTA by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
According to operational information as of 13 August, grain and leguminous crops have been harvested by agricultural producers from 1860.2 thousand hectares, which is over 82%. More than 6.19 million tons of grain have been threshed. 757.1 thousand tons have been sold to the state, which is 62.3% of the state order.
According to operational information, the average grain yield across the republic is 33.3 centners per hectare, which is 5 centners per hectare less than on the same date last year. Farms in the Grodno region receive the most grain per hectare – 40.5 centners. In the Mogilev region, this figure is 37.1 centners per hectare, in the Minsk region – 36.2 centners per hectare, in the Brest region – 32.2 centners per hectare, in the Gomel region – 27.1 centners per hectare, and in the Vitebsk region – 26.5 centners per hectare.
It is planned that this year Belarus will receive over 9 million tons of grain harvest, including corn.-0-
