"Specialists in all regions of the country will strengthen control over compliance with anti-epidemic measures. It is not advisable to ignore doctors' recommendations on observing the mask regime and physical distancing," - the press service noted.
The sanitary and epidemiological service is intensifying its work on conducting epidemiological investigations of each case of COVID-19 infection and identifying level I contacts. The specialists' attention is also focused on controlling the organisation and implementation of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures in organisations and enterprises. Technical specialists have been tasked with re-checking the operation of all oxygen stations, the availability of tests, laboratory materials, and medicines.
A gradual increase in the incidence of COVID-19 infection is being registered in the regions and Minsk, including pneumonias of coronavirus aetiology with severe progression.
In accordance with the national plan of measures for vaccination against COVID-19 infection, phased vaccination of the population continues in the country. As of April 12, the number of people vaccinated with one dose of the vaccine was 129,899, and with two doses - 41,688.
