The standard working time calculation for 2015 has been established in Belarus. The Ministry's resolution establishes the standard working time calculation for 2015, assuming the full duration of working hours, at no more than 2032 hours for a five-day working week with Saturdays and Sundays as days off, and no more than 2026 hours for a six-day working week with Sundays as the day off.
As explained by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the standard working time calculation is established annually. Based on this, the employer determines the duration of the working time during which an employee is obliged to be at the workplace, draws up the work schedule (shifts), and also monitors compliance with the working time duration established by the Labour Code.
The resolution comes into force after its official publication.
