According to the document, a standard list of regional measures for tidying up the land and the criteria for its implementation have been approved. The standard list includes such items as the improvement and maintenance of populated areas, the proper maintenance and arrangement of agricultural territories and facilities, and the regulation of the spread and population of Sosnowsky hogweed. Regional measures also include maintaining the proper condition of territories along roads and railways, maintaining the proper condition of forest fund territories, recreational areas and zones on water bodies, and arranging specially protected natural areas.
Local executive and administrative bodies are to coordinate this work. Their duties include annually including measures for tidying up the land in regional programs on the improvement of the respective territory in accordance with the standard list and determining responsible executors. In addition, they must ensure control over the implementation of these measures and inform the public monthly through the media about the results of their tidying up efforts.
The document also stipulates that regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee must establish indicators for tidying up the land for the next year in the territories of the respective regions, districts, and cities annually by February 15. In turn, district executive committees, city executive committees (except for Minsk City), and district administrations in cities must approve action plans for the next year based on these indicators by March 1.
Chairpersons of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee, and heads of republican government bodies bear personal responsibility for organizing the work on tidying up the land within their competence.
