Belarus has approved quotas for the production of tobacco products intended for sale on the domestic market in 2016. According to the document, a total of 26.7 million units of tobacco products will be produced, including 19.5 million units by the Belgospishcheprom concern and 7.2 million units by Minsk.

Of these, filter cigarettes of the first price group, marked with trademarks registered in Belarus and belonging to tobacco product manufacturers, will amount to 16.15 million units (1.4 million units of "Korona" and "Fort" trademarks; 14.75 million units of "Kronon", "Magnat", "Minsk", "Premier", "Fest", Credo, Matrix, NZ, Portal, Queen, and VIP trademarks).

The quotas have been approved in accordance with the Regulation on State Regulation of Production, Turnover, and Consumption of Tobacco Raw Materials and Tobacco Products.
