President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed the law "On Amendments to Laws," developed to implement Decree No. 112 of March 21, 2018, "On Hunting and Hunting Management." This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The document provides, in particular, for the introduction of an administrative penalty in the form of a warning for minor violations in the field of hunting management and hunting, while simultaneously tightening measures of responsibility for the most serious offenses (up to the deprivation of special rights) and specifying the relevant administrative offenses.
The law has been improved, taking into account law enforcement practice, the procedure for executing an administrative penalty in the form of deprivation of special rights for violating the rules of hunting management and hunting, concerning the cancellation and re-acquisition of permits for civilian weapons.
Individuals are granted the right to sell their legally owned weapons, and to transfer them gratuitously to organizations authorized to handle weapons (e.g., military formations, physical culture and sports organizations), with notification of internal affairs bodies.
In order to comprehensively amend the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offences, this law includes provisions for improving administrative responsibility measures for the propaganda of Nazism.
