President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree approving the plan for the preparation of draft laws in 2019. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Head of State.

The main criteria for forming the plan were the real need of society for the regulation of relevant relations, the priority of their legal regulation, taking into account the current legislation.

In the current year, it is planned to prepare 33 draft laws. These include both fundamentally new documents (for example, draft laws on the rights of disabled persons and their social integration, on the protection and use of wetlands, on the state registration and liquidation of business entities), and those aimed at the systematic updating of existing laws for the implementation of institutional changes to improve business conditions in the country and unleash business initiative. In particular, adjustments to the laws "On Currency Regulation and Currency Control", "On Accounting and Reporting", and "On Tourism" are planned.

In addition, in 2019, it is planned to develop a concept for the draft law "On Insurance Activities".
