In January-July 2015, Br23 trillion of investment in fixed assets was used for housing construction, which constitutes 21.2% of the total investment volume and 95.6% of the level of January-July 2014.

Organisations of all ownership forms built 33.4 thousand new apartments (in January-July 2014 - 37.9 thousand). 3,103.4 thousand sq.m. of residential area was commissioned, which is 77.6% of the target set for the year and 104.4% of the same period last year.

For citizens registered as in need of improved housing conditions, 1,261.3 thousand sq.m. of total area was commissioned, or 40.6% of the total commissioned housing. Compared to January-July 2014, the commissioning of housing for this category of citizens decreased by 334.1 thousand sq.m.

Of the total commissioned housing for citizens registered as in need of improved housing conditions, the following was built: with state support - 1,013.5 thousand sq.m., in apartment buildings in cities - 770.8 thousand sq.m.

In rural settlements, 892.9 thousand sq.m. of total residential area was commissioned, or 28.8% of the total commissioned in the republic (in January-July 2014 - 25.7%).
