A mechanism for planning local budget expenditures for the implementation of measures in the agro-industrial complex has been established in Belarus. The Head of State, Alexander Lukashenko, signed the corresponding Decree No. 462 on December 16, which amends Decree No. 347 of July 17, 2014 "On State Agrarian Policy," the press service of the Belarusian leader informed BELTA.

"In particular, 50% of the funds are distributed proportionally to the area of agricultural land of the respective region, taking into account their cadastral valuation, and 50% - proportionally to the revenue from the sale of agricultural products, taking into account its increase by 10% in the districts of the respective region that are unfavorable for agricultural production," the press service explained.

The decree also provides for the possibility of financing, from the republican budget, the purchase of modern machinery and equipment samples produced both within and outside the EAEU for educational institutions of agricultural profile, and for carrying out land reclamation measures on un-reclaimed agricultural lands using local budgets. -0-
