On November 18, Minsk / Ekaterina Nechaeva - BELTA /. The Central Election Commission of Belarus today registered 10 presidential candidates, a BELTA correspondent reports. The candidates include the current head of state Alexander Lukashenko, as well as Grigory Kostusev, Alexey Mikhalevich, Vladimir Neklyaev, Yaroslav Romanchuk, Vitaly Rymashevsky, Andrey Sannikov, Nikolay Statkevich, Viktor Tereshchenko, Dmitry Uss. The Central Election Commission refused registration to Vladimir Provalsky, as out of all the signatures submitted by him, only 118 turned out to be authentic, which is insufficient for nomination as a candidate. At the meeting, all registered candidates could submit applications to the CEC for the registration of proxies and financial representatives. According to electoral legislation, each candidate has the right to register up to 30 proxies. Lidia Yermoshina also reminded the candidates of their right, which appeared after amendments to the Electoral Code, to appoint members of the Central Election Commission with the right of advisory vote. -0-
