On June 17 at 18:45, a report was received by rescuers about a fire in an outbuilding on Molodezhnaya Street in the agro-town of Strigin, Berezovsky District.

The MES units promptly proceeded to the scene. Upon arrival, it was established that the fire in the block, single-story outbuilding (summer kitchen) had been extinguished by the local population, who also rescued the owner's son, born in 2007. Medical assistance was provided to him.

The rescued individual, suffering from thermal burns, was hospitalised.

As it became known, on 18.06.2022 at 16:05, the victim died from his injuries.

As a result of the fire, the victim's clothing was destroyed, and property and interior finishing in the outbuilding were damaged. The cause of the fire is being clarified.

To prevent fires in dwellings, rescuers remind you:

- do not smoke in bed, do not throw unextinguished cigarettes and matches out of windows or balconies;

- do not leave electrical appliances switched on unattended;

- do not ignite stoves with flammable and combustible liquids, do not leave heating stoves unattended;

- keep young children within sight. Teach them safety rules.
