The opening of social facilities before the October Revolution Day has become a good tradition in Belarus. On the eve of the holiday and in honor of the hospital's 60th anniversary, local residents received an important gift: a fluorography room with a new digital fluorograph has been opened after renovation.
– Today, the Beshenkovichi Central District Hospital is celebrating a significant event – 60 years. It is gratifying that healthcare in the region continues to develop, and the team is preserved, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee. – Furthermore, we are opening interregional centers that improve access to quality medical care.
On the eve of the October Revolution Day, Vyacheslav Durnov congratulated the staff of the institution on the upcoming holiday, emphasizing that disputes about the past are inevitable, but we cannot ignore that this event spurred great development for our country and the emergence of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic.
– You can see how medical institutions have been maximally and dramatically transformed in recent years, and the Beshenkovichi Central District Hospital is no exception. Every year, new facilities appear here, and the conditions for both patients and staff of the district hospital are improving, – emphasized Mikhail Vishnevetsky, Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee. – Therefore, on this holiday, I would like to wish that this home, which has become a second home for many of you, retains its warmth and comfort. This place where you spend a lot of time should develop, improve, and, of course, be updated with modern equipment. This is what is necessary for the quality and effective provision of medical care to the population.
– Our medicine is highly valued in different countries, – emphasized Galina Unukovich, Chairperson of the Beshenkovichi District Executive Committee. – And it is not for nothing that people come to us for treatment from abroad, including to our hospital. Thank you for your work, your sensitive and responsive hearts. I am sure that we will continue to develop.
Galina Unukovich noted that changes do not happen instantly. However, a lot has already been done. For example, the food block has been renovated, the material base in the physiotherapy department was updated last year, and today a fluorography room has been opened in Beshenkovichi.
– The specialists at our Central District Hospital (CDH) possess excellent treatment methods. People come to us from Minsk, aware of the affordable prices and the capabilities our hospital offers. It is important that we recognise and value this, – she concluded. – Every person strives for happiness, regardless of their positions and titles. True happiness comes when we feel our significance to others. Remember that you are needed by people, by the country, by your family and friends. The main task is to maintain unity and mutual responsibility between the individual, society, and the state. By following these principles, we will undoubtedly achieve success.
As reported by Svetlana Roshchina, the chief physician of the Beshenkovichi CDH, the Unioptyma-CR X-ray diagnostic apparatus, costing 148 thousand Belarusian rubles, was acquired using funds from the republican budget. 370 thousand rubles were allocated from the local budget for the capital repair of the room. The premises have an updated ventilation system, a X-ray protective door has been installed, and the protective properties of the walls have also been enhanced. Adjacent rooms are also reliably protected from X-ray radiation penetration.
In a conversation with journalists, radiologist Victoria Kachan noted that the Unioptyma-CR apparatus is of Belarusian production and has a rather wide range of applications.
– The new apparatus ensures accurate early diagnosis of chest diseases; we will be able to see the slightest changes. Modern equipment, ergonomic space, and a well-thought-out workflow organisation will allow examinations to be conducted faster, more accurately, and with maximum attention to the patient, – listed Victoria Kachan. – The apparatus also offers advantages such as high throughput, high-level screening with patient protection, fast and convenient processing, storage and transmission of images, and the ability to compare X-ray images of the same individuals over time.
