A meeting of members of the information and propaganda group, led by the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Mikhail Kiselevich, was held at the Borovskoye Village Executive Committee.

  The audience included military personnel, heads of enterprises and organizations located within the territory of this village council. Svetlana Shevelyova, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the district executive committee, also participated in the discussion.

  Family upbringing as the foundation of a strong state – this topic became the main focus of the conversation.

  As Mikhail Leonidovich noted, Belarus has an extensive system of state support for families, including those raising children. This includes state benefits for birth and upbringing, family capital, social assistance and social services, guarantees in various spheres, and more.  Key points from the discussion:

  As of October 1 of the current year, there are 415 families in the Lepel district raising 1347 children. From 2015 to October 2024, the Lepel District Executive Committee adopted 497 decisions on the appointment of family capital. Assistance for the new academic year was received by 352 large families for 729 children, totaling 94,697 rubles.

  Svetlana Shevelyova also spoke at the meeting, reminding those present that the election campaign has begun in Belarus. The Presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus are scheduled for January 26, 2025.

  Traditionally, at the end of the meeting, the head of the district answered questions of concern to citizens. Most of them related to housing construction.
