Several years ago, the State Customs Committee made a decision to repurpose the service's administrative building into a dormitory. On the eve of the Day of National Unity, a 25-bed residence was solemnly opened for the families and single employees of the "Urbany" border crossing point.

The dormitory provides comfortable conditions not only for living but also for recreation, sports, and games for children and adults. There is even a psychological relaxation room. This was a gift for the future residents on the eve of September 17.

The symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere. The right to open the entrance to the dormitory was granted to the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, the Head of the Vitebsk Customs, Sergey Linkevich, and the Chairman of the Braslav District Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Grishchenko.

Each of them congratulated the new residents on this important event in their lives and wished them continued success in protecting the economic interests of our country.
