On November 16, Vitebsk /Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. A bar owned by the district consumer cooperative burned down in the Braslav district last night. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the propaganda and training center at the Vitebsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The one-story brick building of the "Nadzeja" bar in the village of Druya caught fire at around 2 AM. The district emergency department received a report of the incident from a local resident who was passing by the establishment. Rescuers who arrived at the scene extinguished the open burning of property inside the building, by which time the roof and ceiling had collapsed. There were no casualties.
As a result, only damaged walls remained of the public catering facility with an area of about 60 sq.m. Other structural elements and property were destroyed by fire.
