The solemn opening of the iron removal station in the village of Pyshno was attended by the Chairman of the Lepel District Council of Deputies Igor Urban, the acting Chairman of the Staysky Rural Executive Committee Nikolay Latyshev, the management of the Lepelvodokanal branch of UP Vitebskobvodokanal, and the residents of the settlement.
Iron removal stations in the district are being built within the framework of the "Clean Water" subprogram of the State Program "Comfortable Housing and a Favorable Environment".
In the Lepel district, the geological composition of underground water structures is complex, and practically everywhere the water extracted from artesian wells requires purification. With a norm of 0.3 mg per liter of water, iron in the village of Pyshno alone exceeds the permissible limits by 6 times.
"The iron removal station in the village of Pyshno will ensure the population is supplied with drinking water of normative quality," noted Igor Urban.
