The children's and youth department of the central district library summed up the results of the district stage of the republican competition for the best children's drawing on an ecological theme.

The competition is organised by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus, and its aim is to foster environmental awareness and cultivate a caring attitude towards nature among the younger generation.

The awards ceremony was hosted by Olga Bazhenova, Head of the Lepel District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, and Andrey Starinsky, Senior Forester of the Lepel Forestry.

Winners were determined in different age categories. From 3 to 5 years old:

1st place - Arseniy Sergiyonok,
2nd place - Aleksandr Azaryonok,
3rd place - Kristina Stalyarchuk.

From 6 to 10 years old:

1st place - Ulyana Frolova,
2nd place - Nikita Prokoshin,
3rd place - Anna Shaitor.

Additionally, words of gratitude and gifts were presented to the children who participated in the competition and submitted their works in the "wood carving" technique.
