The official opening ceremony of the facility was attended by the Chairman of the House of Representatives, Vladimir Andreichenko, the Chairman of the Dokshytsy District Executive Committee, Oleg Pinchuk, and the Head of the Healthcare Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Yuri Derkach.
"This is a significant event for the Dokshytsy District. It is the result of the state policy pursued in Belarus for the development of healthcare, and the work and attention of district and regional authorities to the issues of preserving and strengthening the health of our people," emphasized Vladimir Andreichenko.
With the commissioning of the clinic, the quality of life for local residents will significantly improve, and the building itself will become an adornment of the district centre's appearance, is confident the Chairman of the House of Representatives.
According to Lyudmila Podgaiskaya, Head of the Dental Department of the Dokshytsy Central District Hospital, the construction of the two-storey building of the new clinic, connected by a gallery to the reconstructed prosthetics department, took about two years. Financing was provided from the local budget. A total of about Br2.1 million was allocated, including Br429 thousand for the purchase of equipment. The clinic's staff is almost fully staffed, and the range of services provided has been significantly expanded. To receive some of these services, local residents will no longer have to go to dental facilities in Vitebsk or Minsk. This applies primarily to the manufacturing of metal-ceramic and all-cast bridge-type dental prostheses.
During his familiarisation with the facility, Yuri Derkach emphasised that not only residents of the Dokshytsy District but also the population of the nearby Krupki District of the Minsk Region will be able to receive the necessary assistance here. This issue is planned to be resolved in the near future.
