This year, the tax authorities of the Republic of Belarus marked a significant date – the 35th anniversary of their establishment. A solemn ceremony was held to recognise the achievements of employees and present awards.

Thus, the Head of the Tax Inspectorate for Lepel District, Maya Borodich, was awarded the prestigious award of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties – "Excellent Tax Officer".

— This is a very high and long-awaited award that every tax inspector dreams of, — Maya Anatolyevna shared her emotions. — I am glad to participate in such an event where there is an opportunity to communicate with veterans of the tax service. Every time I meet them, I feel like I am returning to the past and feel young. I love my job because I help the state ensure the guarantee of social protection for the population.

Svetlana Mikhailova, Deputy Head of the Control Work Department, was also recognised with a letter of appreciation from the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
