The Republican Open Championship of Lepel District in handball among girls born in 2015-2017 for the prizes of Artsinger Legal LLC was held at the Sports and Recreation Centre.
Boris Pukhovsky, one of the world's best handball players, attended the grand opening of the sports event.
Yuri Mily, Head of the Sports Sector of the District Executive Committee, addressed the athletes with a welcoming speech, wishing the participants a beautiful and fair competition, and noted that by participating in such competitions, the region's youth actively support a healthy lifestyle.
Sergey Mashonsky, Director of Artsinger Legal LLC, also welcomed the participants of the competition.
Competition results:
1st place — RCOP (Minsk);
2nd place — Lepel;
3rd place — SKA (Minsk).
After the competition, interviews and an autograph session with Boris Pukhovsky were held for the young residents of Lepel.

Dozens of times he led the national team in matches of the World and European Championships as captain, played almost two hundred games for it, and leads the list of top scorers in the history of the national team by a large margin.
