The renovated school building and the Physical Culture and Sports Complex (FOK) in Glubokoye are two major social facilities undergoing transformation for the upcoming regional "Dazhynki" festival and are scheduled for commissioning by early August. Finishing works are underway at these facilities. The school will see a complete overhaul of its interior and exterior, including the adjacent grounds. Bright classrooms, corridors, new sanitary facilities, an updated electrical system, and other innovations await the students at the educational institution, which will become a regional gymnasium starting from September 1. Internal finishing works are currently being completed in the building. According to Andrey Golubev, builders are making the most of every favourable hour to finish external works, including the landscaping of the schoolyard and its green areas. The FOK renovation is also progressing at a rapid pace, with all works planned for completion by the end of July.

Works are also being carried out in healthcare, education, and culture facilities among the social sphere objects. The phased renovation of the Glubokoye Central District Hospital continues, and a contractor is currently being sought for the landscaping of the healthcare facility's grounds. A water supply system has been installed at the local House of Crafts, and a sewage system is being laid.

Road workers are also taking advantage of the good weather. "Road repair works are funded from three sources. Br1.7 million has been allocated from the republican road fund for the repair of 9.5 km of roads, of which approximately Br1.2 million has already been spent on laying asphalt over a length of 6.5 km. One street remains, where road repairs will be completed by the end of July. Br500 thousand has been allocated to us from inter-budgetary transfers for the repair of 1.7 km of roads, which we will complete in the next day or two. Of the Br2 million allocated for the improvement of roads and sidewalks in the city, over Br1.7 million has been utilized. For instance, 640 meters of new sidewalk have been laid on Internatsionalnaya Street, a 450-meter pedestrian path around the lake (Kagalnoye. - BELTA's note) has been completed, and preparatory work is underway on two more streets. In the city center, sidewalks are being unified and tiled, while asphalt is being laid on outlying streets. Thus, the lion's share of road works has been completed," emphasized Andrey Golubev.

Work on asphalting kindergarten grounds is still underway, and as soon as it is completed and the road workers are free, specialists will be redeployed to improve the yards near residential buildings. Four large yard areas remain (17 were planned in total) where the road surface needs to be replaced.

In addition to road workers and builders, energy and telecommunications specialists are actively working in Glubokoe, engaged in replacing 16 km of power grids and fully modernising communication networks in the town, respectively.

For current repairs of the housing stock, work has been completed on at least 10 houses out of the planned 14. Capital repairs have already been carried out in five houses out of nine, which were designated for the plan to prepare for the regional rural workers' festival. Capital repairs of the housing stock are also planned to be completed by August.

Enterprises and residents of Glubokoe have actively joined the improvement efforts. "We have visited all the houses and suggested that people tidy up their own territory and repaint fences so that they look in a unified style. Similarly, enterprises and organisations are updating facades and fences, coordinating the design with the district executive committee, as it is important to maintain the overall concept and not stand out from the unified picture of the urban space," added Andrey Golubev.
