A Snegurochka (Snow Maiden) residence opens today in Gorodok, near the ski-roller track in the Vorobyovy Gory tract, Svetlana Mozzharova, head of the ideological work, culture, and youth affairs department of the Gorodok District Executive Committee, told a BELTA correspondent.
The residence will be located on an island between two lakes – Lugovoye and Orekhovoye. "Theatrical and game programs will be held here. Interactive areas based on fairy tale plots have been created on the island. Children's groups will be able to go through them by completing tasks. For this, they will receive fairy tale money – 'skarbyki'. After all the trials, the participants will move to a glade where they will buy a key to Snegurochka's house with the 'skarbyki'. She is supposedly locked inside. By paying, the children will thus free her," Svetlana Mozzharova explained.
The bridge leading to the island will be illuminated with various lights in the evening. At this time, it will look even more like a fairy tale, added the head of the department of ideological work, culture, and youth affairs.
It is planned that in the future the residence will operate year-round. In summer, Snegurochka will transform into Kupalinka, and in autumn and spring – into other characters.
