7 September, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A mushroom picker is being searched for in the Horadok District, BELTA was informed by the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In the evening of 6 September, the Central Operations Department of the Horadok District Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report from the duty officer of the District Department of Internal Affairs that a pensioner born in 1944, residing in the village of Hurki, had got lost in the forest near the village of Hribachi. The man went into the forest in the morning but did not return. Law enforcement officers and the Ministry of Emergency Situations searched for the missing person until late at night, and the search resumed this morning. This is the third similar case recently. Thus, in the evening of 6 September, rescuers and police officers found a 79-year-old pensioner from the village of Vesnina, who had been wandering in the forest since the morning of 5 September. The woman was in a satisfactory condition and did not require hospitalisation. Prior to this, in late August, two more lost berry pickers were rescued in the Horadok District. -0-
