During the peak season of grain harvesting, farmers are often assisted by professionals from other fields.

Pavel Gridyushko, an employee of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, lends a hand to his home farm, SUP "Prozhektor-agro", during the busy season.

Pavel's father, Alexander, has been working at the enterprise for 29 years. Alexander Ivanovich's parents also worked here.

"I grew up in the village and know well how important it is to harvest crops on time. That's why I dedicate my annual leave to working in the field. In previous years, I worked in the same crew as my father, but this year I'm working independently," says Pavel. "I enjoy this work."

The harvest is in full swing, with agricultural workers toiling until late in the evening.

Grain growers are making the most of every fine day to gather grain and rapeseed from the fields.
