A military unit of special forces was visited by the Youth Alexander Nevsky Brotherhood of Lepel. After a thanksgiving prayer service held in the church on the unit's premises, the young people were given a tour of the facility.
A military unit of special forces was visited by the Youth Alexander Nevsky Brotherhood of Lepel. After a thanksgiving prayer service held in the church on the unit's premises, the young people were given a tour of the facility. Afterwards, they saw the trials that special forces soldiers undergo to earn the right to wear the maroon beret. The young people also attended the ceremonial presentation of maroon berets. Incidentally, the residents of Lepel did not leave empty-handed. The brotherhood's chaplain, Priest Sergei Leshkevich, and coordinator Vitaly Kolosovsky were awarded certificates "For Spiritual and Moral Education of Youth". Each member of the brotherhood received commemorative magnets with the unit's insignia and maroon t-shirts.
