23 September, Minsk /BELTA/. There are 293 names of candidates for deputies in the parliamentary election ballots. This was announced to journalists today by the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, Lidiya Yermoshina, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"We have gathered information on the actual number of candidates for deputies we have as of today. As of the first day of early voting on September 18, there were 293, and this figure has not changed; the names of 293 candidates are still in the election ballots. All information about them is available on the information resources," said Lidiya Yermoshina.
She also noted that no emergencies or disturbing incidents related to the elections, the opening of polling stations, or the storage of election ballots occurred over the past day. Thus, all necessary conditions have been created for citizens to participate in the elections, she believes. -0-
