Today, a discussion on the topic "Results of the concluding five-year period as the basis for the successful development strategy of our country" was held within the team of DRSU-202 of Vitebskoblodorstroy UP.
The residents of Lepel were visited by the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Nikolai Latyshev, the Chief Specialist of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee, Elena Prusskaya, and the Senior State Traffic Inspector of the Department of Internal Affairs' OGAI, Vadim Sedin.
In his speech to his fellow countrymen, Nikolai Latyshev elaborated on the achievements of Belarus in recent years, and specifically of the Lepel region.
— I am confident that every resident of our district notices how our region is transforming. Road repairs, improvement of recreational areas, modernization and construction of facilities — the quality of life in all directions is rapidly increasing, and this is undoubtedly the merit of the hardworking citizens of our district. There are no less ambitious plans for the Lepel region in the Year of Improvement, however, it is important to remember that the contribution of each person is necessary in this work, — stated the Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee.
Elena Prusskaya reminded the enterprise employees that this week in our country is held under the auspices of the celebration of Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, which is observed on March 15. Good traditions are associated with this important day for Belarusians, the most important of which is the presentation of passports to young citizens of the country. It is precisely such ceremonial events that are taking place in the Lepel region these days.
Vadim Sedin reminded about the importance of observing traffic rules. The use of retroreflective elements in the dark, the inadmissibility of driving vehicles while intoxicated, and the correct use of personal mobility devices — the Senior State Traffic Inspector placed a special emphasis on these topics.
Traditionally, the meeting was accompanied by questions from the audience addressed to the members of the IPG. Street lighting, passenger transportation, road repairs, landscaping, repair of sports facilities — questions on these topics were heard from the hall.
Meetings within the framework of the work of information and propaganda groups continue in the work collectives of Lepel district.
