On September 15 at 10:03 AM, the rescue service received a report of a house fire on Vitebskaya Street in the town of Lepel.

When rescuers arrived at the scene, smoke was observed emanating from the garage built into the house.

As a result of the fire, ceiling structures and basement walls were damaged.

The cause of the fire is being established. The considered version of the cause of the fire is the violation of the rules for the operation of electrical networks and electrical equipment (short circuit of electrical wiring).

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: it is possible to avoid a fire by observing fire safety rules. Do not operate faulty or dilapidated electrical wiring.
