Teaching people about safety is not an easy task. But it must be done from the earliest years. After all, it is at this time that a lifelong safety culture is formed. However, not all is lost for the older generation either: specifically for this purpose, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are constantly looking for new forms of work to teach life safety rules.

Social advertising of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at public transport stops is one of the most effective and colourful types of outdoor advertising, as a huge number of passengers use transport services every day. Such a powerful and unconventional form of advertising will attract the attention of even the most sophisticated citizens.

Thus, in the town of Lepel, on Sovetskaya Street, near Kindergarten No. 3, a bright, updated bus stop has appeared, featuring social advertising from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' information and awareness campaign "Be Close to Your Child!".

With their striking calls, rescuers draw the attention of citizens, especially parents, to the inadmissibility of leaving children unattended. After all, often many parents believe that a child can be left alone at home even for a few minutes, especially with a phone, as there is an opportunity to contact them at any moment. But they forget the most important thing – at the moment of a threat, a phone call cannot protect or save a child from danger. In addition to the theme of leaving children unattended and the catchy slogan "A phone will not look after your child," rescuers recommend installing an autonomous fire alarm, remind about emergency service numbers, and about actions in case of fire.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations expressed hope that this type of advertising will definitely be beneficial, as now, while waiting for transport, both children and adults will be able to familiarise themselves with useful and necessary information.
