Major reconstruction began in June last year. Of course, the residents of Lepel and those travelling along the highway had to endure some inconvenience – the only Lukoil gas station remaining on the road could not cope with the increased flow of customers, and queues often formed here. Understanding this, the general contractor LLC "Promenerhostroy" and its subcontractors tried to compress time: construction and installation work was completed two months ahead of schedule.
Today, customers at the multi-fuel filling station with a mini-terminal are offered the most modern services and amenities. Advanced technologies were applied during the reconstruction, and environmental protection and energy saving requirements have been met. This is not only a modern refueling complex but also a highly sought-after roadside service facility on the M3 highway. Here, you can refuel your vehicle with Belarusian petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas, purchase all necessary travel items in the self-service shop, which offers a wide range of industrial and food products and provides wholesale trade of petroleum products, and enjoy a meal at the public catering point, which will offer its own products. Almost 30 billion rubles of the company's funds were invested in the reconstruction of the facility.
This is the second multi-fuel filling station with a mini-terminal in the Vitebsk region operating in a similar format; the first was commissioned in Liozno. However, the Lepel station has its own unique features. For the first time in the region, a photovoltaic power station with a capacity of 10 kilowatts has been installed here. The electricity generated from solar panels will reduce operating costs, and surplus energy can be sold. Similar reconstruction is underway at the filling station in Tolochin, which will offer a range of Belarusian petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gas, and all necessary services, including a shop and a café, thus creating another modern roadside service facility.
This was announced at the grand opening by the chief engineers of RUP "Belneftekhim-Vitebskoblenefteprodukt" and OAO "Promenerhostroy," Sergey Usov and Alexander Puchkovsky. Nikolay Misyura, Chairman of the Lepel District Council of Deputies, on behalf of the local authorities, the residents of Lepel, and all travellers on the highway, expressed sincere gratitude for the creation of this significant and much-needed facility for the town and the road.
Another gift was prepared for the residents of Lepel: one of the town's inhabitants was granted the right to be the first to refuel his car for free at the new petrol station. He was Pavel Khonyak, a member of the district council of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and labour. By the way, Pavel Leonidovich noted that all the work was done in the corporate style of the "Belorusneft" production association, meaning a truly beautiful facility has been created.
In addition to consumer convenience and improved service quality, the facility has undoubtedly enhanced the developing residential area. A 100-apartment residential building was recently commissioned, and now the town has received another wonderful gift.
Those present at the ceremony wished the petrol station staff (which has grown from ten to 17 people after reconstruction) successful work, and all customers – only pleasure from the services provided by the modern refueling complex and roadside service facility in Lepel.
