At least 60 workers from various construction companies are working daily on the construction of the fitness and wellness centre in Lepel. Every day, the height of the brickwork increases, outlining the future important facility.
– The future fitness and wellness centre is truly a landmark facility for the people of Lepel, eagerly awaited by both children and adults, – noted Sergey Bystritsky, Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee. – The efforts of four construction organisations, as well as student brigade members from the Lepel Agricultural Technical College, are involved to speed up the process and complete the facility as soon as possible this year.
We visited the construction site where work was in full swing in various sections. Mikhail Dolgy, foreman of carpenters at Lepel PMK-75, efficiently supplied water, cement, and lightweight expanded clay aggregate to the concrete mixer. From there, the mixture was delivered via a special hose to workers at height, who were pouring the base for the floors. Two tower cranes were also busy, constantly unloading construction materials.

This is being done by concrete workers from the private Polotsk firm "Alex-Montazh". They will then work on the formwork for the bowl. Plasterers from our organisation are carrying out interior work and installing porches, – explained Anton Buinitsky, site manager at PMK-75, bringing us up to speed.
Simultaneously, builders from Shumilino PMK-70 and "Belsantechmontazh" were laying kerbstones, erecting walls, and installing ventilation systems. There was plenty of work for everyone, and a young site manager oversaw the coordination of processes. Incidentally, according to Anton Buinitsky, he has a personal interest in this construction project. As a father of three children (a 12-year-old boy and 6-year-old twin girls), he is eagerly awaiting the facility's opening. He plans to visit the pool and gym himself, and to bring his children to the fitness and wellness centre.
– Any construction project involves a large volume of earthworks, loading and unloading operations, and landscaping, – he emphasised. – The student brigade "Domino" from Lepel provided excellent assistance to the specialists with the...
