Events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve are being held in Lepel.

Today, a thematic meeting was held at the department of social rehabilitation and habilitation of persons with disabilities of the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Lepel District.

The speakers at the event were Maria Stankevich, chief specialist of the "Lepel" Tourist Information Center, and Olga Bazhenova, head of the district inspectorate of natural resources and environmental protection.

Residents of Lepel learned many interesting facts about the history of the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve, as well as about compliance with environmental legislation. A quiz and gift presentation were also part of the meeting program.
