The Education Department, the Centre for Children and Youth, educational institutions of Lepel district, and the Children's Art School made a great effort to ensure the celebration was first-class! And they succeeded!

The festival was opened by the Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, Veronika Khombak, who wished the young residents of Lepel good health, a wonderful mood, and a happy childhood.

The start of the celebration was a bright, colourful, large-scale, and cheerful procession. Our children marched in a friendly column through the city centre. The column was led by our kart racers.

Dozens of themed areas for children were open in the city park. All institutions tried their best to ensure that every child felt cheerful, interested, and sunny-hearted today.

Photo zones, attractions, entertainment – the scale of the festival was impressive.

June 1st is a special date in the calendar, when the whole world celebrates International Children's Day. This holiday is not only a reminder of the importance of protecting children's rights but also an opportunity to delight young citizens with vivid experiences.

This was certainly achieved in Lepel today!
